The Oregon State Beavers are a PAC 10 team located in Corvallis, Oregon.

What The Beavers Are Known For

• Winning the NCAA Baseball national title two years in a row then collapsing into the Beavers we know and love
• Losing to the Oregon Ducks football team.
• Losing to the Oregon Ducks basketball team.
• Losing to the Oregon Ducks women's softball team.
• Losing to the Oregon Ducks debate team.
• Losing to the Oregon Ducks chess club.
• But being the Florida of baseball, a sport the Ducks do not play thanks to Title IX. Nope, the Beavers now lose to the Ducks too.
• The team was featured on the second episode in season five of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, when the show came to Corvallis to help build a new home for a family with an eight year old girl fighting cancer. The team helped demolish the family's old home with their baseball bats, while Benny Beaver operated the backhoe. (Thanks Wikipedia!)
