Big Body Presence
From SAS Wiki
Big Body Presence is arbitrarily defined as the presence of a large body anywhere upon the ice surface in a New NHL game. As the most important skill a player can have, big body presence is often heralded by announcers with brain damage, such as Pierre McGuire. More realistically, however, big body presence can be defined as an intangible with little value on the scoresheet, unlike valuable attributes such as puck poise. This ability allows the homer fan to champion his player as being superior, when in reality, they are still a Columbus Blue Jacket Vancouver Canuck.
Similar to the NBA's "you can't teach size".
